Mar 25, 2010 - hard drugs (cocaine, heroine, lsd, ex, etc.) are VERY illegal in amsterdam, although they are still tolerated on a better level than in america. on simple possession you will be fined and your drugs will be confiscated. selling on the other hand can send you to jail. softer drugs like pot and mushrooms are legal but well regulated. gotta do it in the right place at the right time.

I was there before and I didn't even do any because I just don't like smoking so I think it depends on the person. If someone really likes drugs (soft /hard) they will get it one way or another so what's the point of making it ilegal, when you can make it legal and tax it, like officials have said before.

May 20, 2010 - what doesnt make sence is that our government says we have the right to vote on what we think is best for our country, but in reality they get to decide what we vote on, so when we vote on something ran by the government we are taking our best candidate over their best canditates for example the government is voting weather to let us vote to leagalize marijuana, so really its their voice being heard, not ours
