Sep 2, 2010 - @firestoneslave Good question. I read "Cannabis Bible, by Greg Green". That book is no good. Ph 7.0 in your soil ... yeah right. Should be between 5.8 and 6.5 ... And more misinformation is in that book. Looking for good book for soil growing.

Sep 2, 2010 - @TerrierBram I recently picked up Teaming With Microbes its a good book, its not geared towards cannabis, but plants and soil in general i guess, it will teach anybody a lot. Really focuses on microbial life in the soil, geared toward organics over synthetics thats for sure.

Sep 15, 2010 - @Jason0930 Yeah, I work now with a Eutech instrument that's able to measure the Ph in soil. Expensive thing, but boy, I learned a lot about soil growing. I grow bonsai, and then you have to take care of several things to keep them small and still healthy. I start to get it, have Thai (Sativa) and Haze in mini format and blooming. I use a standard grow shop soil (5.5 ph). Bat poop and organic farm cow poop once a week extra. Vitamin C as a Ph downer. Vitamin C is wonderful for the roots.

Sep 1, 2010 - Sorry to hear about your wife, You and her and special people not only for what you do helping all of us, patients and others, but you do it dealing with your medical problems, wish you and your family the best man. I always use the topism at a quick glance to check to make sure all the ladies are happy, and if it wasnt for you and your wife i would have no idea what positive topism is, or oxens, genotypes, phenotypes, you should have a degree hangin on the wall brother.
