My name is Regina. I am a married, working mother of 2 boys. I have always been the one to change my hairstyles on a whim. That is why I find it hard to believe that I transitioned back to my natural hair. I transitioned for 11 months. I didn't start out intending to transition. It sort of just happened. It was July and I decided that wearing braids would be the best thing for my hair while on vacation at the beach (It would have been time for me to relax again). My hair truly needed a break, so, I braided my hair myself. After I took the braids down, I sewed in a curly weave. After that, I got micro braids. I just didn't want to deal with my hair. That lasted for quite a while. I used some of the hair from my curly weave for a ponytail. During this time I began watching hair care videos on YouTube. The more I watched, more information I encountered. You cannot watch a hair video on YouTube without coming across a natural hair video. I was hooked.
